Design Standards
Each cabinet will contain the latest LFP technology, Battery Management Systems (BMS), and will undergo rigorous selection processes. Fully compliant with UK and international standards such as UL 9540A.
We are engaging with the West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service to ensure they have the opportunity to influence our designs.
Detection and Control
In-built gas, smoke, and heat detection. Internal electrical protection, separation layers, thermal monitoring, and venting valves. Fire detection and suppression (aerosol) and deflagration panels.
During the Planning Process
Engaging with Staffs Water and WMFS for a hydrant connection.
The application will be accompanied by an Outline Battery Safety Management Plan.
Our transport consultants have ensured all routes will be adequate to support any necessary manoeuvres of a fire engine.
